Hi Penguins,

I have SUCH a cool idea! I have decided to make a story, well, just a little part and you can chip in too! Leave a comment containing a part of the story you want me to publish, and I will do it for you! But now, let’s start:

Once there lived a penguin named Sun. Everyone thought it was a stupid name and teased her so much that she stomped off and went to Aunt Artic to complain. “They’re so mean,” she huffed. “I want to leave Club Penguin right now and I MEAN right now.”

Poor Aunt Artic tried to reason with her. “If you want to leave Club Penguin, then you must sail away like Rockhopper, and you don’t have a ship like him, do you?” She had hoped that would comfort Sun, but the stubborn penguin said: “OK, if I don’t have a ship, I’ll make my own!”

She went to the Ski Lodge and collected enough wood, then zoomed to the iceberg and worked on her ship. Suddenly, Rockhopper appeared. He had just returned from the high seas and brought back a free pirate eyepatch. The pirate looked at Sun, who was still working on her ship and not noticing him.

“Aye, young penguin, iceberg is me one of the favourite places,” he nodded wisely. “But then I grew up, and me leave for high seas.”

Finally Sun noticed Rockhopper and stood up. Of course, she couldn’t see his face clearly. Many penguins were crowding round him and asking him to be their buddy–as usual. Sun didn’t understand why they were making such a fuss over him. Wasn’t he just a pirate?

Wait till I get famous, too, she thought. Then no one will make fun of me! I want to be like Rockhopper, never getting teased and laughed at, but respected by the other penguins.

She continued working on her ship, and Rockhopper smiled and kept nodding his head. “Sail not long enough, aye matey,” he told her. “Must be long and elegant, like high seas.”

Sun didn’t like the way he kept giving ideas, because after all, it was HER idea, not HIS! But then she had an idea…

“Okay, if you’re so clever, YOU make it!” She said. Ha, she thought. Let’s see if you really are as clever as the other penguins think you are.

Rockhopper smiled and started making it. The ship looked great when he finished! Sun got REALLY mad and started wrecking the ship. She threw the hammer at Rockhopper. “Smart Alec! Wait till I get famous. You’ll be the first penguin I’ll ban!” And she went off.

Sun was steaming. “His lousy ship sucks! So what if he’s famous? I bet his puffle built the ship, not him.”

That’s it! Leave comments!

Waddle on!

Sun stormed to her igloo. She couldn’t stand being wrong, no more than she couldn’t stand that pirate.

“Stupid Granpa!” She muttered to herself, “What does he know?!” She kept trying to convince herself that he was wrong. But she kept on thinking that she might have been wrong.

Her blue puffle, Daisy, decided to come and sit on the couch with her. She wanted to make her feel better. But Sun was still burning with embarresment about being outsmarted by another Penguin.

Daisy tried to sit on her lap, but Sun’s anger forcer her to push Daisy off the couch. Daisy became upset and ran behind a nearby plant.

“Fine, run!” Sun grumped, crossing her arms. Then Sun shrugged and sighed. She wanted to appoligise.

    Cool! Now I’ll write!

“But how do I do that?” Sun thought. She hated saying sorry, but what else could she do to stop feeling guilty? Sun sighed and cuddled Daisy, holding her up. “Sorry, Daisy,” she said, hesitantly. There! That was better! Hadn’t she apologised? Now all she had to do was find Rockhopper, and tell him!

But was it that easy? Not really…she had NO idea where he was, and perhaps he’d probably gone off to sea already! No way! What about apologising?

Sun was a very determined penguin when she made up her mind, and she vowed to find Rockhopper no matter what. Then an idea came into her mind, and she smiled…

Sun wrote on a piece of paper in her handwriting, ‘Dear Rockhopper, I’m honestly sorry I was so mean. If you do receive this note, can you come back asap? I want to say sorry personally.’ She rolled up the note and stuffed it into a bottle, then threw it into the sea. But what if it didn’t reach Rockhopper? what could Sun do?…
